amazing number of diseases; both physical and mental. Hence it is essential for

for yoga teachers training around the world. Courses offered in India include
both residential and non-residential ones with durations ranging from 200 hours
to 500 hours. They provide complete training which comprises all the features
of Yoga such as different postures, relaxation techniques, and their effectiveness,
various asanas, and Pranayama, etc. Meditation techniques form a significant
part of these courses. They also emphasized on the physiological,
psychological, and anatomical aspects of Yoga. Teaching methods are also taught
to these future Yoga instructors so that they are able to help in the
development of Yoga in its realistic form.

can apply for these courses, and there are no eligibility criteria set aside
for filling and submission of forms. However, these applications are then examined
and only worthy applicants are selected for the courses. After completion of Yoga teacher training in India, the
candidate is given a certificate that is recognized by the International Yoga Alliance.
After successful completion of the course, any candidate wanting to teach
worldwide has to apply for an international teacher card.
The degree of
success attained by a yoga teacher depends on the type of training received. Thus
it is essential for every yoga teacher and aspirant to go through the courses
offered and the teaching method followed by different institutions. Only after
conducting detailed research and comparing the approaches followed should a
candidate decide on the institution to join.
The environment in
which the training is imparted also has a bearing on how well the candidate is
able to capture what is taught. Usually, Yoga learning needs a spiritual
atmosphere wherein he can meditate better and also practice the different forms
of Yoga to perfection. Only a person who practices what he preaches and who is knowledgeable
with the different aspects of Yoga can become a successful teacher in the
future.
